Overview

Jurna Recreation Farm in Saaremaa dates from the beginning of the 20th century. It is situated in Upa village, only 6 km from Kuressaare. This makes sightseeing comfortable while staying there. Open all year around.
Five double rooms and one suite particularly suitable for families. Showers and sauna are available. There is also a dining hall for 46 persons and a catering place outside for 40 people. It is always possible to order lunch or dinner from our hostess.
Large garden and a fireplace are at guests disposal at any time. Horseback riding is available at the neighbouring farm.

Jurna Holiday Home is located only 6 km from Kuressaare town and Kuressaare Bus station, 11 km from Airport and Harbour. To reach there is possible by car or by taxi from Kuressaare. Nearby are located Kuressaare town, Kaali crater, famous Kaarma churche, Kaarma town.

Meetings & Conferences

Convenient place for seminars, board meetings and other important events for 25 persons (7 EUR/hour, 45 EUR/day).
Price includes: TV&video, screen, overhead projektor, paperboard.
For extra price: usage of fax, coping, coffee&snacks, lunch&dinner, soft drinks, internet usage.

Dining

Dining hall for 46 persons. It is possible to order supper for individual tourists and dinner and supper for groups. Full service for following events: birtdays, garden parties, company picnics, wedding parties. Production of local farmers and companies of Saaremaa are used as much as possible for cooking.

Jurna Recreation Farm has been working with the local hunting authourity for nearly 8 years now and we have catered for hunters from countries such as Italy, Austria, Finland , Norway,Germany and others.
The main game people come to hunt in Saaremaa is wild boar . The season for this particular animal lasts from 1st of June to 28th of February . However the best hunting time is from September to February.
Also very popular is bird hunting (duck & goose). The season for this is from 20th of August to 30th of November.We have very good hunting conditions at reeded coastal grounds only 30-45 minutes by car from the accommodation.
Inland goose shooting in the morning and in the evening. Shooting in the costal areas 24 hours a day.
Bagged birds belong to the shooter.
